Who is Yogiraj?
"Mahavatar Shiva Goraksha Babaji first gave the original Kriya yoga to the Yog~Avatar Shyam Charan Lahiri Mahayasa in the autumn of 1861, in the Himalayas at a place in Ranikhet. The science was kept in its pristine purity and later passed down to the great Gyan~Avatar Sri Yukteswar who was the Guru of Paramhamsa Yogananda. It is to this lineage that Yogiraj Siddhanath belongs having been blessed by Shiv Goraksha Babaji to spread the message of Kriya Yoga throughout the world. He was also in close association with disciple of Sri Yukteswar's known as Swami Satyananda Giri who was a contemporary of Yogananda who looked after the Sadhu Sabha formed by Sri Yukteswar in India. He also had close association with brother disciple of Swami Satyananda Giri called Hariharananda Giri. After this, at the age of 23, he setout to Himalayas in search of the great being called Babaji and had a deep experience of Babaji."
He spent his early years in the Himalayas with the great Nath Yogis; Yogiraj was blessed and empowered by the spiritual supermen of the Himalayan caves. His divine transformation flowered after his deep, personal experiences with the supreme Yogi-Christos, known as the Mahavatar (Supreme Spirit Incarnate), Shiva-Goraksha Babaji. This experience transformed Yogiraj Gurunath, helping him realize the unity of all Yogis and religions.
